Coding Projects with Iteration

The material covered in these projects aligns with Unit 4 of the AP® CSA CED. These projects ask students to code in the Java programming language.

All projects come with both the editable WORD document, the PDF version, as well as an answer key. You will have the ability to change directions or edit anything to fit your own classroom needs.

Game of Chance Project – This is a project from Unit 3 that is needed in order to complete the version in Unit 4, so it is included in this product. Students are using if statements to play a game of chance.

Game of Chance Revisited Project – Students use if statements and loops to create a program where the user places bets and flips a coin, rolls a die, and spins a spinner.

Conversion Table Project – Students use a loop and clever print statements to display a conversion table between miles, feet, and kilometers.

Mini Loop Project – Students write 4 different "mini" programs using loops to accomplish the task given to them in the directions.
