Here is a brief description of what is included:

Confidence Levels with Yellow M&Ms

Students explore the definition of confidence level using yellow M&Ms

Confidence Intervals and Significance Test Matching Activity

Students match the steps in these inference procedures by cutting and pasting parts of the solution to the correct problem.

Unit 6 Circuit Review

Students practice confidence intervals and significance tests for proportions in a classic circuit-style worksheet (Grab this resource for FREE here!)

Exploring P-Value and Type I Error

Students conduct several significance tests involving M&Ms to get a better idea of what p-value and Type I error are.

Simulation Project

Students use an applet to construct confidence intervals and interpret the values from these intervals. Students will explore the differences between confidence intervals and confidence levels.

Introduction to Confidence Intervals

Students use cards to get introduced to the idea of a confidence interval by a simulation

Unit 6 Trivia Game

Students review problems from Unit 6 in a trivia game
